'If you touch one thing with deep awareness, you touch everything.' Thich Nhat Hanh
I’m Fiona, a holistic bodywork practitioner based near Haarlem.
I offer personalized treatments for women who want to release tension, restore balance, and feel more at home in their bodies.
My work is shaped by years of study in bodywork, yoga, and therapeutic practice, but also by a deep appreciation for careful listening, presence, and the power of supportive touch.
MY PATH
I originally trained as a language teacher and spent many years working in secondary and higher education.
That period of my life shaped my love for communication, guiding others, and creating spaces where people feel seen and supported.
Yoga entered my life in the early 2000s and quickly became a constant companion. Over time I practiced and studied different traditions, including Raja Yoga, Iyengar, Vinyasa, Yin, and Restorative Yoga. Yoga and meditation supported me through many transitions, and when I stepped away from education, it felt natural to move into teaching yoga full-time.
Gradually, my focus shifted from teaching movement to working more directly with the body through touch. What began as an interest in Thai massage developed into a deep commitment to studying bodywork in a dedicated way.
Since then, my work has grown into a full-time practice supporting people through therapeutic touch, attentive listening, and a calm, grounded presence.
HOW I WORK
My approach is shaped by both professional training and personal experience.
I draw from Thai bodywork, osteopathic-inspired techniques, abdominal work, and yoga-based awareness practices. Rather than following a fixed routine, each session responds to what your body needs in that moment.
I aim to create a space where you can slow down, feel safe, and allow your body to soften, release, and rebalance.
SUPPORTING WOMEN
In recent years, I’ve felt especially drawn to supporting women through the many stages and transitions of life.
This includes working with:
Offering thoughtful, nourishing treatments for women feels deeply meaningful to me, and I feel honoured to support clients in this way.
TRAINING & CONTINUING STUDY
I have a strong foundation in Thai massage and have completed a multi-year Thai massage therapy program, along with advanced studies in Osteothai, Dynamic Thai, and Chi Nei Tsang abdominal therapy.
Each year I continue to deepen my work through trainings in Thailand and across Europe, and I regularly assist my teachers during courses. This ongoing learning keeps my practice alive, evolving, and rooted in respected lineages of bodywork.
PERSONALLY
For me, yoga and bodywork are not just professional practices, they are ways of living with awareness, curiosity, and compassion.
I feel grateful every day to share this work here in Haarlem and to be part of a wider community dedicated to healing, learning, and connection.
I’d describe myself as caring, open, playful, and always interested in learning something new or meeting someone new.
I’m happy you’re here, and I look forward to meeting you.
